OUR TUTORS

This summer, we're doing something rather wonderful.

From 10–14 August, our Neighbourhood Learning Summer School brings together some of the most captivating minds in cultural history for four days of exploration, conversation and shared discovery.
Whatever your interests, whatever your background, there is something here to delight, surprise and inspire — and the pleasure of experiencing it all in the company of like-minded, curious people is very much part of the point.

A shared learning experience…

The programme is rich and varied with depth here for those who want it, and pure pleasure for those who simply want to enjoy it — and very often, those turn out to be the same thing!

But the Summer School is about more than just the sessions themselves. It is about the conversations over coffee, the debates over dinner, the unexpected connections between ideas and between people. Learning, at its best, is a communal experience — and we've designed every aspect of these four days with that spirit in mind.

Stay or visit for the day…

The Summer School is as flexible as it is inspiring. Residential students joining us for the full five days enjoy complete access to every course and workshop, along with evening lectures, all meals, refreshments, and bed and breakfast — a truly immersive experience where the conversation rarely stops and the ideas keep flowing long after the day's sessions have ended. Prefer to join us without staying over? Our non-residential option gives you full access to the programme while returning home each evening. Or simply drop in as a day student for whichever individual course or lecture catches your eye.

However you choose to join us, you'll be very welcome. Come for the learning, stay for the company — or both!
