Brilliant talents such as Dimitri Shostakovich, Benjamin Britten, George Gershwin and many more appeared, and novel elements such as jazz and neo-classicism were developed. But it was also a period of tension and anxiety, as the threat of hostilities remaine ever-present; that too is reflected in the great music of the time.
Nestled in the Somerset countryside with a meandering river, tranquil lake and 14-acres of glorious gardens, our home for the course is the truly stunning Haselbury Mill. The course runs from dinner on the first day (10th March) until lunch on the last day (12th March)
